EA / Origin
Operating systems: Windows / macOS. The anadius emulator and the EA-MITM reference. macOS: anadius. EA-MITM compatibility still needs verification.
Before starting
Close the game, back up its original DLLs, executable and saves, and show file extensions. Match the game's architecture, not just your Windows version: x86 for a 32-bit game, x64 for a 64-bit game. Install one emulator for each API at a time. To undo a change, remove only the files you added and restore your backups.
Origin / EA · anadius emulator
Supports the Origin/EA API on compatible games. Unlike a simple DLL replacement, the author's method also requires an unpacked executable importing the emulator.
- Take the emulator and example config + tools archives from the same author topic. Work on a backup of the game EXE and use Origin Unwrapper as linked there for the supported Origin/EA protection.
- The resulting EXE must import the anadius function from anadius32.dll or anadius64.dll according to its architecture, preferably as its first import. Place that emulator DLL beside the EXE and adapt anadius.cfg using crack config info.txt.
- Start the prepared EXE and check the local profile and saves. Additional DRM such as Denuvo is not removed by this setup. The separate macOS archive uses anadius.dylib and its own platform instructions.
EA-MITM · Baggie
An EA-MITM entry from my original list. The current topic requires a CS.RIN login, and its installation files and procedure could not be checked. A verified step-by-step guide is pending the original instructions.
